DOG TREAT REVIEW
By Bonnie Sweebe
I received in the mail from Mr. Chewy, my favorite dog food delivery company, an 8 oz. package of Fromm Oven-Baked Treats for Dogs in exchange for an honest review of the product. I could choose any flavor of dog treats that I desired. I chose Salmon with Sweet Potato Recipe because no one had reviewed the product yet.

Fromm Salmon and Sweet Potato dog treats are dry treats that are made in Wisconsin, U.S.A. The treats are roughly the size of a quarter and are naturally textured. The treats gave me that wholesome food feel. I was happy when I opened the bag and was not overwhelmed by a fishy odor.

The ingredients were impressive, with salmon being the main ingredient, followed by peas flour, potato flour, tapioca, whole peas, beans etc. The dogs flocked to the bag immediately and loved them.

However, I did experience one hiccup.
The adult dogs had no problems whatsoever digesting the natural ingredients. Their stools were normal the next morning. But the 4 month old puppy’s digestive system didn’t take too well to the rich ingredients. The puppy was used to dog food only and I found a patch of discoloration on her towel in the crate which I am attributing to a slight bowel issue. When I took her out in the morning, however, her stool was normal.
So I am going to play it safe with the young puppy and feed these rich delicious morsels to my two dogs with seasoned stomachs and mature tastes.

An 8 oz. bag of Fromm Oven-Baked Salmon and Sweet Potato dog treats sell for $4.99 at Mr. Chewy. Interested? Click here!
